Why not just the paper template?

Aion FX publish a paper template for every PCB, and it works. This is the same positions in something rigid: nothing to tape down, nothing to slip halfway through, and nothing to print again for the next build. It is sized to grip the enclosure's sloping walls, so it settles into place on its own and stays put while you punch. It marks the side faces as well, so the jacks and the DC socket line up with the top face instead of being measured separately.

You punch a mark through it and take it off before you drill, so it marks the same way on the hundredth enclosure as it did on the first.
