About this drill template
Drill template for the Aion FX Cerulean Amp Overdrive, sized for a Hammond 125B enclosure (63.6 × 119.3 × 35.8 mm). The pre-positioned holes match the PCB's pot footprint exactly, with the footswitch centred below the 3-knob layout, with 2 toggles. Print at 1:1 scale, tape to the enclosure face, centre-punch, and drill. PCB and parts not included.
Aion FX description: “Based on the Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal, a classic overdrive effect that was designed to mimic the Model 1962 amplifier from the 1960s.”
Aion FX's adaptation of the Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal, the 1990s stompbox voiced after the Model 1962 combo. The Bluesbreaker circuit is the starting point for several modern favourites (the King of Tone among them), so this board is a way to build the source circuit itself.
Smooth, low-gain crunch with a flat, natural EQ: at its best pushing an amp that is already warm rather than supplying all the gain itself.
Drill measurements
Hole centres for the 125B 3-Knob 2-Toggle w/ Battery layout. X runs left to right from the centre of the face being drilled. On the enclosure face, Y is measured from the centre, positive towards the top. For holes on a side, Y is the distance down the wall, measured from the face edge. Export the PDF for a 1:1 printable version with a scale check.
