About this drill template
Drill template for the Fuzz Dog Treble Deluxe, sized for a Hammond 1590B enclosure (59.3 × 111.2 × 27 mm). The pre-positioned holes match the PCB's pot footprint exactly, with the footswitch centred below the 1-knob layout. Print at 1:1 scale, tape to the enclosure face, centre-punch, and drill. PCB and parts not included.
Fuzz Dog description: “Another boost which alledgedly has graced Mr May's rig at one time or another.”
Another of the treble boosts said to have passed through Brian May's rig at some point. Buildable with a single control or with none at all, and easy either way.
Build notes
The Hammond 1590B is the standard small DIY pedal enclosure: compact enough for a crowded board, large enough for most single-effect PCBs and a 9V battery.
Vendor specs: PCB 32 x 22mm, build difficulty easy.
Drill measurements
Hole centres for the 1590B 1-Knob (Type 1) layout. X runs left to right from the centre of the face being drilled. On the enclosure face, Y is measured from the centre, positive towards the top. For holes on a side, Y is the distance down the wall, measured from the face edge. Export the PDF for a 1:1 printable version with a scale check.
