About this drill template
Drill template for the Fuzz Dog Quiet Boost, sized for a Hammond 1590B enclosure (59.3 × 111.2 × 27 mm). The pre-positioned holes match the PCB's pot footprint exactly, with the footswitch centred below the 1-knob layout. Print at 1:1 scale, tape to the enclosure face, centre-punch, and drill. PCB and parts not included.
Fuzz Dog description: “If you love a Super Hard-On™ but think the crackle is not ok, look no further.”
The Crackle Not OK boost, which takes the Super Hard On and stops the control crackling as you sweep it. The same lift, none of the noise, and still a single knob.
Build notes
The Hammond 1590B is the standard small DIY pedal enclosure: compact enough for a crowded board, large enough for most single-effect PCBs and a 9V battery.
Vendor specs: PCB 25 x 22mm, build difficulty easy.
Drill measurements
Hole centres for the 1590B 1-Knob (Type 1) layout. X runs left to right from the centre of the face being drilled. On the enclosure face, Y is measured from the centre, positive towards the top. For holes on a side, Y is the distance down the wall, measured from the face edge. Export the PDF for a 1:1 printable version with a scale check.
