About this drill template
Drill template for the Fuzz Dog War Pig, sized for a Hammond 1590B enclosure (59.3 × 111.2 × 27 mm). The pre-positioned holes match the PCB's pot footprint exactly, with the footswitch centred below the 4-knob layout. Print at 1:1 scale, tape to the enclosure face, centre-punch, and drill. PCB and parts not included.
Fuzz Dog description: “Sometimes the simplest set-ups yield the most sought-after tone, and it doesn't get much simpler than Tony Iommi's early Black Sabbath sound.”
An always-on treble booster into an overdriven amp, which is the shape of Tony Iommi's early Black Sabbath tone: cranked Laney amps pushed by a booster rather than a high-gain pedal. Simple circuit, and most of the character comes from what you run it into.
Build notes
Four-knob layouts give you room for an extra parameter (a presence control, a blend pot, or an active EQ band) without crowding the footswitch.
The Hammond 1590B is the standard small DIY pedal enclosure: compact enough for a crowded board, large enough for most single-effect PCBs and a 9V battery.

Hole centres for the 1590B 4-Knob (Type 1) layout. X runs left to right from the centre of the face being drilled. On the enclosure face, Y is measured from the centre, positive towards the top. For holes on a side, Y is the distance down the wall, measured from the face edge. Export the PDF for a 1:1 printable version with a scale check.
