About this drill template
Drill template for the Fuzz Dog 360 Fuzz, sized for a Hammond 1590B enclosure (59.3 × 111.2 × 27 mm). The pre-positioned holes match the PCB's pot footprint exactly, with the footswitch centred below the 2-knob layout. Print at 1:1 scale, tape to the enclosure face, centre-punch, and drill. PCB and parts not included.
Fuzz Dog description: “Here we have a pedal adaptation of the fuzz section from the Acoustic Control Corp Model 360 bass amp, and the Model 260 guitar amp.”
The fuzz section from the Acoustic Control Corp Model 360 bass head and Model 260 guitar head, worked up into a pedal by Aion FX. An amp circuit rather than a stompbox one.
Build notes
Two-knob layouts leave plenty of space inside the enclosure: the PCB, jacks, and 9V supply all have room to breathe.
The Hammond 1590B is the standard small DIY pedal enclosure: compact enough for a crowded board, large enough for most single-effect PCBs and a 9V battery.
Vendor specs: PCB 50 x 40mm, build difficulty medium.
Drill measurements
Hole centres for the 1590B 2-Knob (Type 1) layout. X runs left to right from the centre of the face being drilled. On the enclosure face, Y is measured from the centre, positive towards the top. For holes on a side, Y is the distance down the wall, measured from the face edge. Export the PDF for a 1:1 printable version with a scale check.
