The pre-positioned holes match the PCB's pot footprint exactly, with the footswitch centred below the 5-knob layout. Print at 1:1 scale, tape to the enclosure face, centre-punch, and drill — PCB and parts not included.
Fuzz circuits live and die by their clipping stage — the transistors (or diodes) push the signal into hard saturation and squared-off waveforms, which is where that characteristic wall-of-buzz comes from. Layout-wise the gain stages don't ask much of the enclosure, so the knob spacing in this template prioritises feel over board real estate.
